Chris Sargisson

My role is principally to support the delivery of Hethel Innovation Ltd’s 5 year growth strategy. Seeking purpose and relevancy and our own innovation in the work we will do to support as many Game Changing business as possible.

I’m most known for my work in delivering successful business change and transformation. I’ve lots of experience within digital start-ups and scale-up through to consultation and influential ‘turn-around’ CEO roles.

My career started at 17 in retail, using self-taught knowledge to sell the first generation of business computers to the SME Market. In the mid 1990’s I moved into developing Insurer-Tech and then onto start up, co-founding and launching its4me plc, one of the UK’s most successful online car insurance brokers and major employer. I also pioneered the cultural and technology changes that generated the UK’s first online estate agencies.

Following successful startup exits I ran my own business consultancy practice, helping organisations of all sizes across the UK Innovate, pivot, disrupt and scale. Along side this I dip back into CEO roles to create lead transformation programs.

Lastly I support a variety of advisory boards within Business, Further Education, The Arts, Innovation, Charity, and Local Government.

If you could be on any TV Show, what would it be and why?

Star Trek  – TNG playing First Officer, Commander Will Riker. Such a hopeful vision of humanity’s future.

If you could choose any fictional place to live in, what would it be and why?

Springfield  – Dysfunctional but endearing and funny.

You’re stranded on a deserted island and can only bring one meal with you to eat indefinitely, what would it be and why?

That’s private and should remain a surprise.
