Adam Killett
My name is Adam. In my past, I worked on building sites, learning my trade through a carpentry apprenticeship. This role I learned at a number of different places, like the Cantley sugar factory, and, most recently, I worked in the education sector, doing and managing school maintenance for over 14 years. I also help my local scout group as a Cub Scout leader in my free time, which I enjoy as we go camping and teach the young people new skills like archery and rifle shooting.
I am part of the estates team and a carpenter/maintenance technician. I enjoy working at Hethel Engineering Centre because I get to make a real difference and help others. This, in turn, makes me smile, and I feel I have made a difference.
You’re stranded on a deserted island and can only bring one meal with you to eat indefinitely. What would it be, and why?
Got to be a 12-inch pepperoni pizza and fries, as pizza is my favourite and I can’t live without it.
What would your coworkers be surprised to learn about you?
I have a twin brother, and I am the younger of the two of us by only 19 minutes
