At Shedload Designs I focus on the beauty of individual UK and tropical hardwoods and combine them in a simple but striking way to produce things of beauty for use during both the preparation and presentation of food and wine. Standard lines use and contrast such woods as Maple and Walnut, Ash and Sapele and Beech and Padauk but there are many more ‘limited edition’ items made from woods I have come across and couldn’t resist buying or items made from recovered or broken furniture. Items include but are not limited to wine racks of a very individual design, preparation boards, carving boards, presentation boards, cheese boards, serving platters and tapas boards etc.

We have three Shedload boards of varying sizes. Displayed in the kitchen they almost look too lovely to use but are in fact in constant use and still retain their original impact. Nice to see a local craftsman showing that the life of a beautiful material is not limited to one incarnation.
