A Quick Intro to Hethel Engineering Centre
In 2006, Hethel Engineering Centre was created by Norfolk County Council in partnership with the East of England Development Agency, local industry and other partners as a hub for engineering and business in the region.
The success of HEC has resulted in dramatic growth over the last decade, with dozens of extra workshops and offices created to service the regional need for a supportive and engaging hub for the type of high-skilled, high-growth businesses in demand across Norfolk and the rest of the UK.
Since it’s opening in 2006, Hethel Engineering Centre has provided office, workshop and hot-desking space for over 200 ground-breaking and innovative businesses, including supporting over 180 start-ups, that have created over 1000 new jobs for the region. The Centre’s team have supported these businesses and thousands of others across the region through direct business support, networking and over 400 events.
