More about Alice
Alice oversees internal innovation and the launch of new offerings whilst developing external partnerships and opportunities.
At Hethel, Alice has led the development of new training programmes, funding bids and commercial contracts. A large part of her role is focused on implementing agile working to improve HIL’s offering both for customers and staff to ensure we can continue to grow sustainably.
Having a background in environmental science, Alice is passionate about making sustainability mainstream for the region’s businesses and finding innovative ways to make this transition easier.

More about Andy
With a varied background including running his own business, working as a camera assistant in television, teaching English, and working as a project manager Andy is deeply interested in productivity and methodologies that hack the way things are usually done.
Andy’s focus is finding innovative new ways in which business can approach the way they run. With teaching experience Andy runs many of the training courses, Lean, Agile and Design Thinking are all under his umbrella. Andy is also part of the intervention team, going into businesses directly to help them become more productive and more sustainable.
Graduating with a MRes in Climate and Atmospheric Science from University of Leeds Andy also has an interest in sustainability and the development of clean technology.
More about Imogen
With experience in both the clean technology and aviation sector in business development and research roles, Imogen has developed an interest in supporting business to grow sustainably and innovatively.
Imogen has recently been appointed Innovation Manager at HIL, with a particular focus on Sustainability. A large part of this role is running the Cleantech East network – a network designed to support the acceleration of new innovative clean technologies, as well as identifying internal opportunities to innovate.
Graduating with a Geography BA from King’s College London, Imogen is passionate about Sustainability and Development and is interested in finding new and innovative ways to support the growth of clean technology.

Recently graduating from the University of East Anglia with a BSc Honours in Business Management, James coordinates the NAAME Network and the role sees him become the Network Coordinator, a position which will see him provide support to manufacturing and engineering businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk.
More about Mary
Mary is currently studying a master’s degree in human resource management (Level 7 CIPD accredited) in Cambridge and has a BA Hons in Business Enterprise, as recently joining Hethel Innovation she supports the team as the Network Coordinator, and coordinates the NAAME Network. Mary is passionate about people, and supporting businesses getting creative and innovating for the future!
More about Jordan
Jordan has previously worked in quality control and planning in a manufacturing environment, ensuring that lead times are met whilst monitoring waste and rejects. Jordan’s current role sees him support SMEs and sole traders to develop their value proposition and make their business idea a reality.
Within Hethel Innovation, Jordan previously developed the NAAME network, creating the Lean training course, coordinating annual manufacturing conferences, Ingenuity and Evolution, and writing successful funding bids. Jordan plays an active role in monitoring engagement with businesses and identifying collaborative opportunities between industries.
With a degree in business and marketing, focussing upon innovation and sustainability, Jordan is passionate about supporting aspiring entrepreneurs to further their business idea and create innovative and socially responsible businesses.
More about Sam
Sam graduated with a BSc Psychology degree from the University of Derby in 2016. He is currently leading in marketing within Hethel Innovation, identifying new programs and growth opportuinities for the business.
More about Rikke
Rikke graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedicine from the University of East Anglia in 2018 and carried on studying for an MSc in Molecular Medicine at the same university finishing in 2019. From there, she decided that she wanted to apply her knowledge of science in a different way and completed an MSc in Business Management at the Norwich Business School (UEA) in September 2020.
