Phoebe Buxton

My name is Phoebe, before working at HIL I worked in retail at Pandora selling jewellery. One of the main focuses of working in retail was to exceed customer expectations and improve their overall experience in the store and so I understand the importance of good customer service and have transferred this to my roles at HIL.
I have had a few different roles at HIL, I started out in the Finance team as a Business Administrator before transferring to a role in the Operations team. Starting in Finance allowed me to get to know a good knowledge of the buildings and the tenants in them which was helpful when I moved into the Ops role. Over the past couple of years, I have built my knowledge and experience which has led me to becoming the Facilities Management Supervisor in SEP. Part of my role is to ensure that the compliance works are carried out to H&S regulations so that the Site is safe, and tenants are able to operate their businesses. I am also involved with projects onsite which involves refurbishing and improving buildings and site facilities to improve customers experience at SEP.
I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and keeping active through running (mainly on the peritrack at Scottow!), going to the gym and eating good food. Recently I completed a Hyrox race alongside my sister, this tested our physical and mental strength but showed the hard work we put into the months of training was worth it.
